Our Story

Judson Roy Home gets its namesake from owner Shawn Varwig's two heroes; his grandfather Judson (or Papa as he was affectionately called) and his grandfather Roy. The two men were tireless blue-collar workers who stood by their values. They taught Shawn from an early age that honesty, integrity and respect are values to live by. Now, these are the core values that guide every decision made here at Judson Roy Home.

Our humble beginnings take us back to 2016 when we opened our doors as a furniture store in the heart of beautiful Canby, Oregon. By an unfortunate twist of fate, the store was forced to close its doors. With the last of his bank account and a heavy dose of determination, Shawn packed up the showroom sample furniture and moved it to a warehouse. And with that, he opened a home staging company.

Fast forward to today, we are a leading Home Staging firm serving the Portland and Salem, Oregon and SW Washington markets. Still, you can often find Shawn hanging out at our original location, what is now Gwynn's Coffeehouse. Rumor has it, he still gets his mail there and often refers to the coffeehouse as "his office".
